Morning Glow at Badwater
An image made in the winter of 2018 with my 4x5 film camera using Portra 160 color negative film. Death Valley offers so many unique and varied landscapes, including the salt flat area known as Badwater. I love scouting compositions the day before then marking on my GPS so I can locate them in the morning before the sun rises. It's amazingly quiet and peaceful on these flats at these hours, and the light seems to glow and dance all around you.
